It is amazing how the body retains different amounts of water at different times of the day, depending on the food intake you had thad hours before, on the temperature, and even on the number of hours you have slept. The kidneys are much more complex organs than i imagined, so when i chatted with my doctor about water retention, he mentioned that one should not expect his body to always be the same throughout the day.

Some good pieces of information he shared: to help our kidneys, we can avoid drinking massive amounts of liquids at one time, avoid eating only starchy foods and finally, avoid the all alround bad for us, salt.
