I am Joe. I am 20 years old. I have lived with ADHD since I was diagnosed at 5 years old. When I was seven, my dad died of a massive heart attack. He was only 42. My mom did so much for me to find the right doctors and the right programs to help me. When I reached 14, I thought that taking my medication meant that there was someithing wrong with me. it took me a long time to realize that I just had to accept my condition and that taking my medication every day was for my benefit. I feel much better now that i have accepted. this. I think that all kids should make sure they listen to their doctors and parents, and take their meds.
