I hardly ever write about exercise, but i recently read an interesting piece of information- jumping rope is a better type of exercise than running. A avid runner for a long time, i had difficulty accepting this scientific conclusion, which claimed that jumping uses more muscles than running, burns more calories and is a better tool for muscle toning (as opposed to muscle building). I gave a try to jumpin a few days ago and wasn't fascinated with how i felt afterwards- it seems the only muscles that felt the exercise were my calves. In addition, i had quite strong joint pains for a few days.

In conclusion, it is up to you to give a try to jumping- i just wanted to share my experience which wasn't the most positive one.
