After going seventeen years, believing myself to be a HUGE hypochondriac, I was finally diagnosed with advanced Multiple Sclerosis. Since that time I have experienced just about every medical screw-up imaginable. None of the disease modifying drugs have ever been well tolerated, and just a few weeks ago I nearly died from a Copaxone injection that went terribly awry. I would very much like to compare notes with others who suffer from this disease and see if perhaps we can't come up with some viable alternatives to being at the mercy of a largely uncaring medical community.
