I'm still here! (1) (1)
One month has passed since I wrote to you dear people and not much has changed. My health still fails, I still need insurance, and a lap-band surgery is my ultimate goal. Day after day I dream of making enough money to care for my needs, or at least, finding a job that would give me benefits. People who are not in need, do not realize how important these things are to the rest of us who are forced to live without it. We work hard, we are good people, we hurt just like the rest of the world, so why is that we have to go without essential health benefits that should be a mainstay in everyone's life? I don't understand how we can live in America and still not have the rudimentary basics that make this country great. America is failing its own children while working willynilly to help so many others. We are your people, we should be able to count on you for help. So why can't we get it?
