more problems (3)
Since I was 15 years old I have had to deal with uncontrolled seizures. I was never taken to a doctor until I was marrried and 21 years old. All my life I have been on every medication possible with no results. I have also been troubled with very expensive medical bills and costs of these medications. I had a vagal nerve stimulator implanted 10 years ago, again with no help with my seizures. Then in the year 2005 I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and had a tumor removed with a large amount of cancer that had spread inside of me burned out. I had chemotherapy and again ended un in a great deal of debt. We did have insurance during this but due to my husband changing jobs we lost my health insurance. It is too expensive to buy for me because of my 2 pre-existing conditions ,but my medication for my seizures is about $850.00 a month. We have already gone through a bankrupcy and coming up with extra money for my prescriptions is almost impossible. I hope I can find some help in this program because everything else I have looked into always turns us down. Plus the fact I cannot drive because of my seizures we only have one income in our household. It gets very difficult alot of times.
