I started out having heartburn. I was not prone to having heartburn and used over the counter antiacids (Zantac 75, tums, etc. ) to treat the heartburn. The problem got worse over the next few days and strated having problems breathing when the heartburn was sever. I went to the ER and was advised that my cardiac enzymes where elevated and needed additional test. I had a 99% blockage in what they call "the widow maker", the left exiting ventrical. I have no damage to my heart and did not actually have a heart attack but it is very important to check with your doctor or go to the ER if you have unusual sysptoms for you, and/or family heart history, and/or contributing factors for heart disease (diabetes, etc. ). Females do not show typical signs of heart attacks and do not exibit as a male does.... My going to the ER when I did is what saved my life.
