I went to the doctor about a week and a half ago for flu-like symptoms I couldn't shake after having it for about 2 weeks. He said I was getting a sinus infection after the flu and that's why felt so bad. He also suspected a viral infection as well, but just gave me antibiotics and sent me on my way.

A couple of days later my stomach started to swell, as if I were 8 months pregnant. I also had numerous other symptoms. So I went back to the doctor. He pushed on my stomach one time, said I had gas .. to take Gas-X, rub icy hot on my stomach, and follow the BRATS diet. It's been several days now and NONE of that is helping. I'm still having the sharp pains in my upper left ab area that spreads to my belly button area.. It's a dull aching feel with intermitten sharp, stabbing pains that take my breathe away. My stomach is still bloated and I'm having trouble with BM's, nausea, dizziness, mild confusion.
I don't think it's gas at all and I'm not sure what to do.. Has anybody ever experienced anything like this? If so, please shed some light on this for me!!
Thanks
