my name is chris judy and i was diagnosed with crohns disease at the age of 15. It all started with slight stomach cramps that got worse by the day, then the blood in my stool came. i was to embarrassed to tell anyone about it for a while until one day it got so bad i had to tell my mom. She took me to the doctor and they recommended a specialist who put me on all these expensive medications that helped but when i turned 18 i was no longer eligible for Medicaid and couldn't afford the doctor bills and medication, so i had no choice but to stop. I was in a really bad wreck on July 30th 2006 that left me on life support for a few days with multiple brain bleeds. i am currently in a flare up with my stomach that caused me to loose my job, so my fiance' has to work and she doesn't make enough to pay bills and take me to the doctors... living with crohns disease wouldn't be so bad if i could actually find something or someone to help me get back to my doctors so i can go back to work and help my fiance' with all our financial problems.
