i am 47 i was diagnosed with pappilllary thyroid carcinoma,then they found out i also have non hodgekins lymphoma.my mom is in end stage of non hodgekins.they gave her 1 year then they gave her 5 years,then they said she has no more than 10 years she has now lived 12 years and she is still going strong.they gave me five years which i will beat.i have had so many obstacles,i lost my husband 5 years ago,1 week after he died i lost my job.i got involved with someone and that has been hell at times but i love him,i lost my last job because my finger got crushed in a patty making machine,now i am facing being homeless and i have lost everything and what i have not lost is being shut off like my online service i am losing monday.but i will not lay down and die,you see the key to surviving anything including cancer is to not give up remain positive and trust in GOD.i like to believe there are still people out there that will help thier fellow man and maybe GOD will touch someone who has no money worries and send them to help me as i have so often done myself in the past.so keep the faith,trust in GOD and think positive.insurance has not been available to me i have t-19 but if i make more than 400.00 month gross i lose it so i have a big problem,i need to work full time to survive but i have to have my meds and even working full time i cannot afford them.my fiance has high blood pressure and he is with va and they are charging him now he cannot afford his meds either.hypertension is a bad thing so his meds are very impoirtant to.so the med system,welfare system and other forms of assistance need to be upgraded or invented.
