I lost my job in 2007 and was unable to afford to keep health ins. When I started another job they kept stalling me about health ins. 3 months went by then 5 months then 7 months, finally I quit and found another job only to after 6 weeks they said they had to let me go. now I have been without health ins for a year, I need an inhailer , I have psoriasis which i need prescription for and now I have high blood pressure, these are only afew things, my wife needs heart medication, and several other medicines. We are both unemployed and have tried to deal with over the counter medicines, buying, and using medicines less, and only going to walk in clinics when we have the extra funds.Meanwhile my conditions worsens not to mention depression has set in. This is a short story of a serious problem I'm sure many other americans are facing. My health has deteriorated in just 1 year. This is the first time I have been without health insurance and I'm 55 years old. My teeth are becoming discolored from lack of dental cleaning, and so on. Thank you for taking time to read my short story. I can go on about many other things but I think this tells most of it. Story goes here...
