My name is Jennifer and I have had epilepsy for 7 years now-since I was 18.
I have been taking different kinds of medicines to control my seizures. Those of which include Depacote, Trileptal, and one more that I can't remember what it was called.
Roughly over 2 years ago, I found a medicine that actually worked very well to control my seizures, and have been taking that medicine ever since.
Unfortunately, this medicine (Lamictal) for some reason, is so expensive, and I have been paying nearly $300.00 a month to refill each month, and that's WITH insurance. I'm not sure if it's the insurance that makes it so expensive, but I do know that without insurance, that medicine would cost $400.00, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure no one would want to spend that much each month to refill their prescription(s).
That is the reason why I came to this website. I need help paying for my seizure medicine. It's worth a shot if I can get help.
