Living in a small town may seem like the perfect dream, everyone knowing everyone, people helping people, friends all around. The facts are if you are not known well there then things can turn bad fast.

Married to a man that has family and friends throughout a small town, everyone you meet friendly until you discover that he has a fetish with pictures of very young women on porn sites and soon after marriage you become nothing more then a servant to take care of him and the house, having no life outside as he wants a maid.

When I could no longer take the life he had chosen for me, I built the courage to throw him out. This is where small town life goes bad, he, his sister and police came to the house, one that I bought, one that I furnished, one I had to keep up with no help, and still maintain a job to pay for. They came just after I filed for divorce and with no warrant, no court order, they just came with trucks and wearing guns. The police told me “shut up you have no rights here, and if you interfere I will arrest you” His sister attacked me and the police said “they have the right to do anything they want take what ever they want” and yes they did. Later that night that police office came back and said “you know what can happen if you say or try anything, you can do nothing and you will do nothing, understand”

I chose and am doing something, what right do they have to take everything from me even my freedom, I was so afraid for my life, they were going to kill me, I am fighting back now, they cant do that, can they?
