I am a female with diabetes and arthritis is setting in. I have had it for about six years. It was diificult to accept at first...I was in denial for several years and denied that this was my diagnosis. Now I have come to terms with it. I find it frustrating testing my fingers because it hurts so much after a while. My inspiration is my husband. He worries about me and keeps me on track. He reminds me to do my walk excercises. Life with diabetes is real dificult but I hope someday I will be able to overcome it but with the prices of Health Care and Medications I find it difficult to keep up with the rising costs.
