hi everyone, i am going to give you a brief history. i had back surgery in 04 developed arachnoiditis, fibrosis and permanent nerve damage. i have been considered disabled since 05 at age 29. now i have taken so many different meds for pain and nerve pain. for nerve pain i have taken neurontonin (made me sick & didn't work) elavil (didn't work but i slept ALOT) lyrica (didn't work and swelled up my feet and legs so much i couldn,t walk) finally my drs. get to cymbalta YEAH! i have been taking it for six months now and my nerve pain has reduced by 60% wow that's really cool for me. before cymbalta my legs hurt so bad with the constant tingling and spasms and the feeling like i was walking on glass that i could only walk with a cane or walker, even with large amounts of morphine. so i would just like to say that if you have lower back pain with radiculopathy this might just be worth a try for you. i only take 60mg a day and it is still working. i hope this brings some info to people and maybe it will work for you too! good luck
