I'm a disabled veteran from the Vienam war circa 64-66. My unfortunate exposure to Agent Orange has left me battling a lifetime of Diabetes Type 2 and also heart problems. I have struggled with the already high costs of several much needed prescriptions that the VA does not cover.

The Deparment of Veterans Affairs does not recognize Byetta as a new medicine yet and as yet do not cover the costs for me. Byetta has enabled me to lose weight and as a result has also lowered my average daily sugar count.
