Well, I decided that I would go back to work and it ended as soon as it started. I was placed at the security desk doing things that I was not able to do. My doctor took me off of work again. I am going through a work hardening program now. Which is where I spend 8 hours a day in therapy, its not so bad, tiring... It is to help rebuild the muscles and strength that was lost due to an injury. I think that if I were allowed to do this program for more than 2 months, I may gain back most of what I lost. Things at home are harder than ever, they have cut my activities back to almost nothing, my best friend comes over each day helps keep my house clean, do the laundry, and shop for me. I dont even drive for myself.
If you are suffering from pain due to an accident ask your doctor about Chronic Pain Management Therapy, or if its a workers comp case, ask about the work hardening program. This could be one of the most wonderful experiences that you may try.
