I had a stroke about a year ago. I was self-employed and just never had enough money for health insurance. Since I've had my stroke, I've had to close my business my daughter and her husband have been very gracious and have basically taken over financially! I am so grateful. My daughter has been trying to find some type of medical savings card to help out with prescriptions and what doctor's bills. I am uninsurable at this point. We went to the doctor today and was told that my LDL levels were way to high, the doctor put me on Crestor. The cost of my prescriptions now are crazy enough (I'm on 3 meds for high b. pressure) now adding the new one has really made it bad for my daughter. She is a school teacher and her husband is a truck driver. But my daughter has not complained at all she brings me my scipts and doesn't say how much the cost is...but I know because I have a friend that complains to me about the cost.
