Some of you know we just found out not to long ago that we are going to have our 3rd child in July 2008 and our health insurance does not cover my pregnancy. Anyhow, I have been trying to get help from the county we live in, they sent a packet to us on the 9th and said I had till the 16th to get it back to them. Yep 7 days, they needed info from my previous employer, my husband's employers, birth cert. SS cards and a few more things. So I called them b/c I wanted to make sure I understood everything they wanted. On the part for US citizenship (birth cert. SS card, picture id, etc) I wanted to make sure that they needed all or just certain things or whatever. The lady I talked to said the birth cert. and SS card would work blah blah blah. So I got the SS cards and birth cert ready. Still waiting on paperwork from the employers I didn't get it to them in time so I filed an extension for 5 days (that was the longest I could do it).
Took both my kids with me, by myself 30 mins away (to a town I have never been in) to get them the freaking paperwork. Well the other day they sent a paper stating we were denied b/c of FPL. So I called and they said b/c we didn't have our picture ids in the packet. I told them that I called on such and such date talking to who ever and told them what she said. So now I'm waiting on my case worker to call me back, hoping and praying that we get accept b/c we can not afford this baby. I have never dealt with the most rudest people in my life. They don't care about anyone or what is going on. All I have to say is when you are dealing with the county you live in for help with stuff like this GET THEM EVERYTHING even if you think its stupid or waste of time (e.i. they have the birth cert and the SS card, that will be enough, WRONG) just get everything and anything you can think of.
Thanks for letting me vent. Trying to be strong for my family and baby but there are days I just cant do it (feel that I cant)
