I grew up with an abusive drug addict father and a mother who was terrified to leave for most of my childhood. While my mother was forced to work I would stay home at the age of only 8 years old to take care of my two younger sisters ages 6 and 4. Often times cooking dinner and cleaning so my mother wouldn't have to when she arrived home. Finally my mother decided to divorce my father after he almost killed her infront of me and my two younger sisters. I thought life would be better but my mother married a man shortly after who treated her better but treated us badly. Now, at the age of 19 I am attending college at WVU and promising myself to have a better life than my mother and father had for us. My mom doesnt think that my stepfather should have to pay for us so I get no money from them. Therefore I saved the money from my graduation and use it to live on. It was only $1200 so it is gone now. I worked all summer and I am currently trying to find another job to pay for things. I had medicaid but because they don't consider my situation bad enough they took it away when I turned 19. I was on Clairton, Singulair, Albuterol Inhaler and Albuterol Liquid for a nebulizer, and also Zantac. But since they took away the card I can only afford my Singulair and Zantac. I did recieve help for a six month supply of singulair but it runs out next month. Please help me to get my perscriptions.
