My sweet little 3 years old nephew came to visit us and I wanted to lift him up in my arms but…I guess I was in the wrong position…I just felt an awful pain in my spinal column and I couldn’t lift him any more. It was painful and that sent me to the chiropractor to have my bones “cracked “back in the right place.

He did a good job; however, I learned one thing: when I want to lift something heavier, I should bend my knees instead of banding my back and lift. That saved me ever since, as I know now that I am not to lift things with my backbone bent but rather have my legs bent and lift. It is safer…and trust me …it saves a great deal of pain too! Keep your back straight when you lift heavy things!

I hope that what happened to me will not happen to you, don’t forget to “watch your back!”
