I am a 42 year old woman and unemployed. I do not have any health insurance or income to pay for my prescriptions. I had gastric bypass surgery in 2004 and am on medicine for my stomach as well as a veriety of vitamins that I should be taking but have not been able to afford. I am also supposed to have a vitamin B-12 shot every 3 months and have not been able to get that done on a regular basis. Because I could not afford to take my pills to prevent gallstones, I wound up getting sludge in my gallblader and haveing complications. I had to have my gullbladder removed. I am also on anti-depression/anxiety medication and take pills for RLS. I am not one to ask for hand outs and am looking for work religiously but have had no luck. I would much rather pay out of my OWN pocket for my medications then ask for help. But I would appreciate any help I can get.
