I recently changed jobs and di not realize how good my health care coverage was with my previous emplyer. I had Blue cross Blue Shield and was paying $5-$25 per prescription for my wife. She currently has about 6 prescriptions. I changed jobs and my new insurance was Humana. No granted I did take a pay increase, but it did not nearly cover the New Co pays and new prescription program. I now pay about $45 per prescription and $25 each time we have to visit a regular doctor. Specialists are $40 per visit. Needless to say, I am now paying about $350 per month more then I was before. Word of advice........always consider your health care coverage before changing jobs. I wish I looked a little deeper into it.
