I have a plethera of health problems, some are very hard to treat. Most medications are unaffordable for me, so I take the least expensive and most important. But there are meds out there I'd like to try, but they are just too pricey. The most frustrating thing is that many medications that cost an arm and a leg in the US, cost next to nothin in other countries. I just don't get it. I wish the cost of things were based on our income. If I had money, I wouldn't mind so much. But I lost my last 2 jobs b/c of my health, so I'm on state disability and have applied for federal disability (SDI). This income is not much, and I just need help! This program seems like a good place to start. I'm finding that help might be out there, but we have to look for it.
