I was a very hard working man. I started working when I was about 6 years old. I was forced retired from a job I had for a little over 27 years. I had has a heart attack at Church and when my job found out I was having heart trouble they said I was a liability so they let me go. I was the one that brought the money in and my wife stayed home with our children. Now we had no money. She took every job she could find. As Christmas got close she worried about our children. She worked 3 jobs and the bills were still coming in. Were and still are without any health insurance. She took her wedding set that she loved so much and sold it. When Christmas arrived there was presents under the tree for our 2 little ones and for me. I felt so bad because I wasn't able to get her anything. She was so excited to watch everyone open presents. Just the look on her face. When I asked about the presents she said Santa knew we needed some help. Later that night as she was fixing dinner I noticed her wedding set wasn't on her finger. I asked about it and she started to cry. She said she sold it so she could buy my meds and make sure Santa didn't forget about us. I just hope we can figure out something to help us with the cost of meds. I love my wife so much I don't want her to work herself into an early grave.
