Mom has gone through two chemo treatments so far and has come through with hardly any side effects. The first few days after treatment, the pain is there.. but that gradually lessons. She has not been sick, and has had more energetic days than bad days. She made it to church for the first time since the diagnosis last week and all were overjoyed to see her and couldnt believe that she looked so good. The only visible side effect ( other than perfect hair due to a new wig.. hehe ) is that she is thinner than she was. She is eating well but the appetite is a little lacking. She says she is going to beat this. She had been taking online classes though our church to be a liscensed Pastor; her calling is to be a hospital clergy person. She laughs alot and lets the doctors and God handle the rest. The end of this month we'll have our first update...until then, I only can hope and pray that if I ever have to go through anything like this, that I have her faith and attitude and strength. She is truely an inspiration to all.
