In MN, there's a new law that just passed on 10/2007 where any hospital and clinic can share a patient's medical record history. They say that the patient has a choice to limit the information that is passed along when they fill out the form. At first, I thought it was a good idea because it prevents the hastle of paperwork, but after hearing some opinions, I don't think it's such a good idea afterall because doctors and nurses "may" start to treat you differently or not treat you at all based on your condition.
