I just finished reading, 'The Secret', and I have to tell you; if I can smile in the face of adversity, anyone can. These last 2 years have been all but a killer. I've lost my husband to alcohol, I lost my son to a car accident, I almost had to live on the streets and I went into a severe depression that lasted the whole time. I've got diabetes, and a host of other ailments and, as if that were not enough, I got cancer in Feb. Not a farthing to my name or insurance, but I do possess an insatiable appetite for surviving. I pray and I read. Thank God for that. Since my last book, I have learned the true meaning of keeping faith and carrying a smile in light of any tragedy that comes along. For you only hurt yourself in the end. I'm living proof of that. Since I no longer frown and feel like Ms Doom and Gloom, I have healed my own cancer, without the aide of the doctors who wanted to cut off my body parts and fill me full of radiation and chemo. A good thought and attitude will get you farther than our inability to pay for things. Keep Smiling and the Universe will attract happy things for you.
