I usually try to get things organized before any event such as the holidays etc. I try not to buy presents, decorations and all that stuff that makes that particular day so special at the last moment. This year, I learned a new thing that left me stunned. When I asked my teenager son, Jonathan what he wanted for this Christmas he left me with an opened mouth when he answered, "more time" . I asked him what ever did he mean by that and he said to me that if i could cut down on my shopping and organizations and spent more time with him, then i would save money and planning for his present. I decided to grant him his request..and I also bought him a non expensive present as well.
