I was diagnosed with minimal change disease in the summer of 2001.
This is a disease that affects the kidneys and prevents protein from being absorbed through the bloodstream, which in turns leaks out the protein into the urine.
I have tried to eat healthy and look for answers to my condition.
The medicines that I am on are expensive.
I try to take each day as it comes. I have to many people who love me and provide the emotional support that one needs when confronted by disease.
Life changes when one is afflected by a disease. Your daily routine becomes less routine and one starts to think for the worse. I hope that my condition does not deteriorate for the worse.
I have not slept comfortably since being diagnosed.
Well, that's all I can write right now.
