My head was hurting so bad when I opened my eyes, I rolled over and looked at the clock. Its only 2am. Man I thought, what should I do? Go ahead and wake Josh up and have him take me to the ER or wait it out and see if it gets better? I closed my eyes and counted to ten hoping that the sickness in my throat fades away before I had to make the mad dash to the bathroom. I must have fallen asleep because I wake up to the alarm screamin next to me. I hit snooze and as I opened my eyes I once again had the sick feeling and there was no counting to ten this time, making that mad dash I barely made it. Returning to the bedroom with a cool rag on my head and cell phone in hand I phone into work and tell them I wasnt coming.

Josh pulls into the ER parking lot among the many cars and construction vehicles that pack the small area. I think to myself, this is going to take forever. The nurse at the desk of course takes her time checking me. I was triaged and sat down. Sensitive to the light and the loud sounds the doctors finally call me back after two hours and Josh telling them Im still getting sick. They start an IV and give me nausea meds and some pain meds. Well they want to send me for a CT Scan, they fear there may be something more. I begin to cry, Josh just holds me until they have to take me. The whole time Im being scanned I cry and shake, all I hear the doctors and nurses say are tumors or anurysims. Im only 31 years old, how can this be? My Neurologists says its only Migraines. They take me back to the ER to wait for my results. Im so scared and nervous. Josh is there with me holding me while I cry and shake. They finally give me something to calm my nerves, it helps a little but Im still scared and worried. After an hours of waiting Josh asks if they know anything. Two doctors come in and tell me that they forgot about me and if Josh hadnt reminded them they wouldnt have come, but everything looks normal and I can go home. Josh is my Knight in Shining Armor.
