My daughter is 5 wks old. She have been drinking similac advanced with iron milk since she was born. But for the last three wks she have started to get a rash on her face but now it have spreaded to all over her body. She was taken to the pediatrician as soon as it had started and was told that it would clear up on its own and was nothing you could do about it. But yesterday I decided that it did not appear to be getting any better so we should try to get a second opinion fron a different doc. And this nurse @ hospital said that it looked like that it was a milk allergy and recommended to change to a soy milk such as similac isomil . but she was not able to make that change for her but her pediatrician would have to do that. She said that she did not understand why the doctor suggest that we should do that at first. So I am going to try to get the soy milk to see if it helps until her appointment next week with pediatrician.
