Lucky the song that never ends has a story that will end. I am 30 years old but my body thinks its about a good bit older. Its been like this for quite some time now. And they always seem to fall around the time of big birthdays. Some are bigger than others but they are all crushing just the same. When I was 18, I was diagnosed with one of the worst cases of endometriosis in someone under the age of 30. When I was 21I was having surgery #2 for the endometriosis. Two days before my 25th birthday, my mother was dragging me into the ER with numbness and I was then diagnosed with HBP. So this year I decided to give my boyfriend and my roommate fair warning the night before my 30th birthday. Needless to say they thought I was paranoid and sort of brushed it off as me being worried about getting older. And what do you know.... one month later (to the day) I was diagnosed with gall bladder disease. A week later I was in surgery having it removed. Well you say, "That's not so bad", "It could have been worse"....Now there is a possibility that there could be something seriously wrong with my kidneys. When is it going to end? Oh yeah, that's right...this is the "song that never ends". But I promise, when I see an end in sight, I will let you know. But do me a couple of favors: 1) Pray for me. 2) ALWAYS listen and pay attention to the warning signs your body gives you. Hopefully we caught this kidney thing early enough like we did the gall bladder. Your body talks to you all the time, listen to it.
