What Chiari has done to my life...

I'm sorry to say that this story doesn't have a happy ending, at least not yet. In 2000 I went from being a very healthy young woman to having these horrible throbbing headaches, blurred vision and lost feeling in my legs. I saw more than a dozen doctors and they all told me it was "depression" or "sinus infection" or "stress" Aren't they all so sweet... Finally one of the Doctors I saw ordered an MRI and that is when they found out that I have Chiari Malformation. My cerebellum is 22 mm larger than normal. It comes out of my skull and down my neck all the way down to my C2. I had two brain surgeries here were I live and they did them wrong. For 3 years after those surgeries I suffered with horrible pain and neurological symptoms and the Doctor that did the surgery kept telling me I was "properly decompressed" and the symptoms are all in my head. One day I went to see him and he told me not to return to his office. I got kicked out of his office! which is the best thing that ever happend to me. I found out about the Chiari Institute in NY. It took them 2 more surgeries to fix what was done to me. After that I was symptom free for 3 years... until now. I now have not just Chiari but Tethered cord and I'm waiting for my insurance to approve the surgery. They have denied it twice. The only thing that can be done for me until the surgery is approved is pain management. But, the pain is so extreme that not even the fentynol does anything to it. There is one thing that helps the pain, they are actiq pops, but they are so expensive that they aren't approved. I need to find someone that will help me get this pain under control and help me get the actiq pops. I will eventually get my surgery, it might take a few months or a year, but I do need to have this horrible pain under control until then. Please help me by allowing me to get the Actiq pops for my horrible pain. I've had the RX from the Doctor, but can't fill it. Please help.
