(Chicago Sun-Times) The federal Food and Drug Administration has OKd a new, once-a-day diabetes drug. In studies, the injectable drug, called Victoza, helped people with Type 2 diabetes control blood sugar and lose weight when they also ate a healthy diet and exercised.
