I have Medicaid, and there are medications that can help me but they will not pay for them. I suffer from treatment resistant depression and other ailments termed as "rare" disease. Therefore medications which are indicated for certain ailments are prescribed for 'off-label' use for these rare ailments. Even though i have tried every other standard treatment with no success and have trialed some of these meds which did help but because they do not "meet criteria" i get turned down. I think that is inhumane, torture and cruel and unnecessary harm. If a person's pain and discomfort is relieved by something it should be given to them no matter what the criteria is. it is the right thing to do. it is against the law to abuse a person and cause them pain and injury so why can the government hurt a person and get away with it. GO HILLARY!
