I am on disability and make just over what would qualify me for prescription assistance and currently pay over $1000 per month on my meds. Several of the medicines I'm on do not qualify for Medicare Part D, as well, I move to the catastrophic portion of the plan by mid-year. My healthcare costs eat up almost 75% of my disability income presently but I don't qualify for many programs for medication help.
It sucks to be stuck in the middle.
