I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Symdrome in 1998. The doctors put me on Glucaphage to reduce the size of the cysts. I was then diagnosed with diabetes that same year. I then began to develop leg ulcers on my left leg, along with cellulitis that went into my blood. I am looking forward to getting on this program to help me control my sugar and help me try to take control of my life. I now work in Indiana at a gas station that does not offer insurance. I am working 60 hours a week just to pay the out-of-pocket expenses for my care. I have tried to apply for help through the state but I don't have a child so I don't qualify.
