In May of 2006, I went to a plastic sugeon in Playa del Rey, CA to have some painful vericose and spider veins removed. The technician who was a PA, did the laser treatment on my right leg and it was fine, but when she got to my left leg kneecap she adjusted her laser and the pain was excruciating. As a result, my left knee is constantly swollen and resembles a mishapen grapefruit and it actually bleeds from time to time. The doctors said it was arthritis, but up until the day of the treatment, I never once had pain in that knee. Now, I can barely walk. I no longer have health insurance and the pain is increasing to a point where I can barely walk and I don't have the money for a doctor.
