I had my story on here but didn't elaborate to much and deleted it to start over and go into more detail.I got addicted to opiates around 4 years ago and from there I progressed to IV drug use and wasn't a very happy person,I was just alive but not living and I had 3 kids at the time, one was given to her father with temporary custody and the other 2 stayed with my mom while went to jail and then detox and treatment.I got out and was put on Suboxone.I have 14 months sober now and I have been on it for a year now and am being tapered off.It has helped me greatly to not use through out the past year and I enjoy my sobriety alot now.The little things in life matter so much more.Just a month after leaving treatment I found out I was pregnant and that I had got pregnant just 2 days before going to treatment.I have a 5 month old little girl now and I am glad to have got sober for her sake as well as mine.Anyone can get clean and stay that way if they want.I still attend 12 step meetings twice a week and I am open with how I feel now instead of holding it all in like I used to growing up.I am a much happier person now and won't give up my sobriety for anything.
