April 15th, 2003...

I was involved in a head on collision where I suffered numerous injuries. Upon admission to the hospital, I was also diagnosed with Spina bifida. I was sent to various doctors and specialists, and they advised me that my spine was deteriorating and I was going to be unable to walk by Christmas that year.

I had chiropractic appointments four days a week and physical therapy for 3 days a week. I endured spinal taps. I endured steroid injections.

Thankfully Christmas that year came and went and I am still walking 4 years later. I still have my issues with my back, but I have made amazing progress since then.
