Hello my name is Charlene. I am a very ill person. On December 19th 2006 I lost my husband of 25 years to a massive brain bleed. I am on social security because around 1992 I was in a work-related accident. I was the Manager at Ponderosa restaurant. I went to go answer the phone in my office and no one had put up wet floor signs. Needless to say i fell and hit my head on the metal door frame. Because of this I lost part of my memory and I'm in physical pain all the time. I have previously been told that I have depression and I'm on medication for that. I have blood pressure problems. When my husband died I lost an income of 400 dollars a week. I spend more than than in a month on prescriptions. social security gives me some help but just recently they stopped giving as much assistance that they used to and now my prescriptions are even more. I'm not taking all of my meds because I cant afford them. I really am down when it comes to income. I'm medically not suppose to work but its like I cant get any financial help anywhere. I just hope that someone out there can understand my situation and maybe help.
