A relative was recently prescribed a medication that will cost him over a $1000 a month, which is more than he gets in social security and pension. He tried to get into a patient assistance program for the medicine and was refused because he qualifies for Medicare Part D. He has not enrolled in Medicare D because he can't afford it. Does anyone know what other help there may be?
