We need your e-mail address in order to activate your account and for communication purposes (you can always control the extent of communication through your e-mail settings). Any additional information that you may enter in your profile section is optional.
  • For Registered Members Using Our Benefit Products and Services: in order to activate and maintain your level of benefit services we collect the following information: first name, last name, gender, date of birth, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone numbers. If you elect to include dependent family members to receive our products and services we will collect their first name, last name, date of birth and e-mail address (e-mail address collected only if dependent is over 18 years old). The choice to provide us with personal information is always yours. However, your decision to withhold particular details may limit the products and services we are able to provide and make it more difficult for us to advise you or suggest appropriate alternatives. We may also maintain a file containing contact history that is used for customer inquiry purposes.
Emailing Us 
During your visit to this website you may send an e-mail to the UP. Your e-mail address and the contents of your message will be collected and used solely to respond to you, to address issues.
 
Emailing Friends
We offer a feature that allows you to email invitations, stories, petitions and other content on our website to friends. This feature requires that you enter the name and email address of the recipient (s). We store this information for the purpose of sending this one-time email only.

Registered Members can login and access the “My Home” section of the website, which allows users to update profile and benefits information and set preferences. In addition, you may always contact UP directly at info@unitedproject.org to update or remove any of your personal information.

 We use current technologies and maintain security standards to ensure that your personal information is protected against unauthorized access, disclosure, inappropriate alteration or misuse. All safety and security measures are also appropriate to the sensitivity level of your information. Electronic files are kept in a secured environment with restricted access.
