Post topic: stress can boost your appetite

Doctors say that stress can be a major trigger for over-eating or for eating things you normally wouldn't eat. In studies, women under great amounts of stress were more likely to eat things like candy and pass up healthier foods like fruit or nuts. Yoga, meditation, and other stress-management methods can help relieve the stress, and therefore, stop you from eating unhealthy foods.

I've always noticed that my own appetite increases when I'm undergoing a stressful period in my life. Sometimes I wonder if the chocolate is actually making me feel better. It does seem that I get a sense of well-being after eating dark chocolate...

Lots of people turn to food to sooth their emotions! Emotional eatting. I know that when I have had a bad day it is nothing that a few cookies cant cure - lol!
