Post topic: raspberry treatment to prevent skin cancer

Doctors in Ohio have proven that a topical medication containing black raspberries is effective in slowing the growth of squamous skin cell carcinomas in mice that were exposed to ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation. Squamous cell carcinoma is the second most common type of skin cancer in the U.S. There are about 250,000 cases diagnosed every year. The key ingredients in black raspberries that slow carcinoma growth are called anthocyanins, which are powerful antioxidants.

Wow, this sounds like a promising treatment for skin cancer, at least for squamous-cell carcinoma! Thanks for sharing the information.
