Cigarette smoking is often the reason for the appearance of the long and deep wrinkles on the face, and now there is a new study that suggests cigarette smoking may also cause wrinkles to appear and deepen over the rest of the body too - even places usually covered with clothing. Smokers over the age of 65 were found to have aged more than nonsmokers in the study as well.
