If you suffer from migraines, a drug called Imitrex can help. Excedrin and ibruprofen can also help if you don't use them too often. For tension headaches, over-the-counter medications often work. The problem is that people over use these and then get what's known as a 'rebound' headache when their bodies adapt to the drug. Alternative treatments like meditation, self-hypnosis, yoga, and progressive relaxation techniques can help too.

If I feel a migraine coming on, I usually take 2 Excedrin Migraine tablets. This usually helps, if I am able to take them early enough. Unfortunately, it's kind of hard on my stomach, so I have to take a couple packages of saltine crackers with me wherever I go.

Excedrin is great but it also upsets my stomache. It feels like it's eating a hole right through it. It's so hard to find medicine that works without nasty side effects.

Sometimes, I wonder if I'm starting to build up an allergy to aspirin. I get a very mild rash at times. But, seriously, the only OTC product that helps my migraines is Excedrin.
