I've heard that bee stings can help people with arthritis, but I wonder how this can be recommended when so many people also have horrible allergies to bees. Is it possible to get the benefit of the sting without actually being 'stung'? Like whatever bee chemical that helps in a pill or something?

I wouldn't like to have this as a remedy! Every time I've been stung, I get a week-long itch reaction that is not pleasant. I think I'd rather take Aleve!

Wow, I just got an old book on natural cures and remedies from one of my neighbors. There is a chapter on Gypsy Medicine, and believe it or not, the Gypsies were using bee stings as a remedy for arthritis about a hundred years ago or more! It's funny how some of the old-time remedies turn out to be backed by science...

Wow thanks for sharing. Many people think that we are way ahead with medical treatment, but they took care with many natural treatments back then!
