This question has been bugging me since Supreme Court Justice John Roberts had a seizure several weeks ago. He had a previous grand-mal seizure back in 1992. Is this considered epilepsy? Can you have seizures out of the blue and not have epilepsy?

Actually, you can have seizures and not be considered eplileptic. I am living proof. I had several seizures as a child, they stopped and then about 2 yaears ago I began to have them again. I have since been diagnosed with "non-eplileptic seizure disorder". It's all in the brain wave activity that makes them eplileptic seizures I think.
